Xbox One will not work in all countries at launch.

Well if you still were ready to buy a Xbox One even after all the bad decisions Microsoft has done with it then this will most likely change your mind, yes MS has confirmed it One will not work in all countries (most of Asia and all of Africa), here's the list of countries that will have THE ONE:

Australia
Austria
Belgium
Brazil
Canada
Denmark
Finland
France
Germany
Ireland
Italy
Mexico
Netherlands
New Zealand
Norway
Russia
Spain
Sweden
Switzerland
United Kingdom
United States

Anywhere else on the world? Well tough luck says MS but they are thinking of expanding it. And this is what  MS said when they got questions about it in support:

  1. @XboxSupport Regarding Xbox One. So, if im not from supported country I will not able to play XboxOne? Even if i create account on UK region
@Crofna Unsupported countries would not have the full experience, and may not work. ^PC

  1. @XboxSupport But say someone from Poland, not listed, imports it from the UK. Will they be able to play disc-based games?
@il_cattivo They would want to wait until the console is available in their region. ^PS

Yep MS will not support every country in the launch. . . . . . . . . .

And I didn't even think about it how many open world games were actually shown at E3 this year or that many games will apparently be better with a tablet.

The "Highlights" of the Xbox ONE reveal conference

Hello there readers!

Yes I haven't really been that active as I should have been and i'm sorry readers >_< Work and other stuff has been keeping me really busy but I have something that you need to see. As all of you may be aware Xbox one has been revealed . . . . . . And has started one of the biggest flame wars I have seen in a while on the whole internet. What are my thoughts? Well I live in a very small village with a pretty bad internet so even if I did buy this console it wouldn't work and I really don't care that much about TV in general and the fact that I can't borrow games to my friends is a very bad thing so its a no buy for me obviously. But anyway here is a funny video that pretty much sums up the whole conference under two minutes:

By the way best quote ever "Xbox is about to become the next water cooler" Oh the irony.
(ATTENTION READERS: This video was obviously not made by me so give credit to the creator of this sum up: http://www.youtube.com/user/Darkbeatdk?feature=watch).

So yeah the new Xbox (I will not call it ONE its just the most egoistical name I have ever heard especially since it isn't the real first Xbox and this name also makes the Wii U name sound like a masterpiece) will be mostly about TV . . . . . . I'll just say this if Microsoft doesn't change the console now and make it ABOUT GAMING then . . . Well it will not survive even two years because even those so called "Hardcore" fans that will still buy this on day one will have to realise pretty soon afterwards how much the console is just not about gaming compared to the PS4 and Wii U. Well that is at least my two cents on the whole thing.

Yes I will still talk about Castlevania mirror of fate that one is coming readers so be a little more patient >_<

Well that is all from CJ today so have a great day readers!

Comedy in "non comedy" Games

Have you ever played a video game with unexpected comedy? I mean sure, there's a lot of games out there with funny aspects, and there are also a lot of games out there which are completely based around it, but what about the games that aren't based around it? How do you feel about comedy making its way into, say, a horror game, or a game with a serious plot? As for me, I actually really like it if it's done right.

Although having comedy in a game that really isn't made for comedy can harm the game, a lot of the time game developers find unique and creative (or sometimes even unexpected) ways to tie it in. Not only does it throw the players for a loop, but it can be a nice unexpected change of pace as well. Even though there's a lot of great games out there that do this, one of my favorites has to be a little game called "Virtue's Last Reward."

Virtue's Last Reward is the second volume in the "Zero Escape" series, and the sequel to the Nintendo DS game 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors. In Virtue's Last Reward 9 people wake up to find that they have been kidnapped, locked in a building, and forced to play a game called the "nonary game." While the game itself is along the lines of a horror, suspense, mind freak, psychological, visual novel puzzle game, it also has quite a bit of comedy as well. Mixed in with the disturbing facts that you are all going to die if you don't follow the rules, and mixed in with the whole viral outbreak on the outside, come small touches of comedy which really help break the gameplay up.

Sometimes it's stupidness that just catches you off guard,
and other times they even bring up TV shows!
Then you have the moments where you have no idea WHAT to think,
and then you are both disturbed and laughing inside.

Like I said before, its this type of thing which really helps break up the gameplay, and help throw you for a loop. Sometimes you just can't expect the least expected, and that's how a game that thrives on mystery and shocking scenes can really use comedy to its advantage. Never expected this scene, that's for sure!

Even so, not everyone out there likes this sort of thing. If a game doesn't do it right, it can really damage the game, and if you're the type of person who hates comedy all together; then it may also turn you off from the game as well. Really in a way having comedy in non comedy games is a risk, but it's also a risk that I'm glad a lot of companies are willing to take. Still if you don't like it, well.... I guess you'll either have to deal with it, or simply just pass on the game, and find a different one.
